Private Residence, Hamilton, ON, CanadaCommissioned in December 2015 by Hamilton, ON baroque guitarist, tenor, and early music specialist Bud Roach for use with his vocal quartet Capella Intima, Opus 6 is a single-stop portativ organ. Its casework and wind system design is similar to our other continuo organs; however, its single 8-foot stop is a principal rank, open from tenor F, and inspired by Italian examples. As far as we know, it is the only Organo di Legno built in this particular style in Canada.
